A Grant High school student has been arrested on charges of drug dealing, police say.
Officers arrested 18-year-old Jacob Sause Thursday p.m. after serving a search warrant at his home on the 2700 block of N.E. Hancock Street.
Police say they found 300 grams of cannabis (around 10 ozs.) along with small amounts of cocaine and heroin at the home. Sause has been charged with 20 different drug crimes and is in Multnomah County jail on bail of $600,000.
The arrest came after numerous complaints from neighbors about drug dealing at the home. Police say Sause was delivering drugs to Grant students. About two months ago, police issued a Chronic Nuisance Property letter to homeowner, Henry Sause, police said in a press release. But instead of ending the problem, complaints increased.
Community members concerned about drug activity in their neighborhood should report the information on line at http://www.portlandonline.com/police/index.cfm?c=30740 or call the Drug Complaint Hotline at (503) 823-3784.
