justice sonia sotomayo book medIn Just Ask , United States Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor celebrates the different abilities kids (and people of all ages) have.PORTLAND, Ore. — On Saturday, September 7, Multnomah County Library and Portland Community College will welcome U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to Portland to celebrate the release of her new children's book, "Just Ask! Be Different, Be Brave, Be You."

Members of the public are invited to a free event with Sotomayor at the Gymnasium at Portland Community College, Sylvania Campus Saturday, September 7 at 5:30 p.m. Free tickets are required for entrance and are available online.

The event will include a welcome and introduction from PCC President Mark Mitsui and Director of Libraries Vailey Oehlke, a conversation with Sonia Sotomayor moderated by iHeart Radio and KATU-TV lifestyle host Tra’Renee Chambers, followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.

Books will be available for purchase from Broadway Books at the event and for pre-sale online with tickets. Attendees who wish to enter the signing line must have a copy of "Just Ask!" or "¡Solo pregunta!" to enter the queue.

Sotomayor will also sign her other authored books. No photographs or recordings will be permitted.

Entry will begin at 4:00 p.m. Outside lineup will begin at 2:30 p.m. No re-entry is allowed. Oversized bags, backpacks, and shopping bags are not allowed, and all bags are subject to search.
