Candidates to Appear on Nov. 5 Ballot Certified

Thursday, the city elections division sent the final list of candidates approved to appear on the city’s 2024 general election ballot to the Multnomah County Elections Division. Find the full list here. 

The list of candidates is organized by position for mayor, auditor, and city council. A total of 118 candidates will appear on the ballot for the city.

Each registered Portland voter will have the opportunity to vote on mayor, auditor, and three council members who represent their geographic district. Each district’s three city councilors will make up the city’s new 12-member city council. Portlanders will use ranked-choice voting for the first time for each contest, allowing each voter to rank up to 6 of their top candidates.
