The work at Troutdale is a continuation of the Refresh projects, providing smaller but still important upgrades to 10 libraries. Troutdale Library closed to the public on June 21, to undertake these bond-funded improvements.
New features at Troutdale include:
- An inviting kids area with new, movable furniture
- New, comfortable reading room chairs (both with and without arms) and tables as well as new lounge chairs in the adult area
- A SmartShelf which easily checks in materials placed on any shelf
- New, lightweight meeting room chairs and movable tables
- New carpet for an updated, inviting experience
