Publishers from around the country gathered for the 75th Annual National Newspaper Publishers AssociationConvention, from June 16-20 at the Detroit Marriott. The Michigan Chronicle, the state’s largest Black-owned newspaper, served as the convention’s host publisher.
The theme of this year’s convention was “Empowering a New Generation of Leadership.” The five-day conference featured workshops, training sessions, forums, panels and award ceremonies.
