A Somewhat Secret Place is an admirable project that examines where disability appears in both representation and artistic practice. That means some of the works shown will be about disability, others will be made by disabled artists.
This groundbreaking 3-week show will open July 7th at PRESENTspace art gallery in the Pearl District, 939 NW 10th Ave. Portland. But funding is still short for the compete program of fine arts, literature, dance, theater, video and film. Enough pledges must be gathered before June 20th when the Kickstarter will close.
Those who support using Kickstarter will get tickets to some special events, be proudly posted on the donors list on the A Somewhat Secret Place blog and also have a tax deduction opportunity through OWCA a 501c3 corporation.
