SEATTLE (AP) -- An evangelical organization says they will again offer after-school Bible clubs in two Seattle-area elementary schools -- part of its push to reach 10 percent of kids in Washington between the ages of 5 and 12.
The Seattle Times reports a group called Child Evangelism Fellowship plans to expand its after-school Bible clubs in King County.
The newspaper reports that a 2001 U.S. Supreme Court decision ruled that religious organizations can be allowed on public school grounds.
Jeff Kiser, the evangelical group's Washington director, says the court's ruling has allowed the group to go where children are.
Kiser says that the fellowship runs about 100 Bible clubs in public schools in Washington state.
