100-Year-Old Woman Meets Her Great-Grandchild for the First Time

They’re 100 years apart!

We cannot get enough of our grandmas! Everyday a new video is shared online that pulls at our heartstrings; if grandma and her grandchildren are in it, it's bound to put a smile on our faces. Take this granddaughter, for example, who did her grandma's hair, or the grandma who went viral for her reaction to her granddaughter being drafted to the WNBA.

Our most recent story is about wife, mother of three, and CEO of The Not So Perfect Mom Shop, Ashley James. Not only did James get to experience a home birth, but her newborn baby girl was able to meet her 100-year-old great-grandma! She took to Instagram to share the wonderful moment, captioning the video, “Born in 1922 & 2022 #100years apart.” Great grandma had us in tears with her reaction! “Oh my God,” she said as they placed the baby in her arms, “It’s been a hundred years!”
