The Multnomah County Library has announced the following computer classes are coming up at the North Portland (512 N Killingsworth St.) and Hollywood (4040 NE Tillamook St) locations.

Resume Help

Bring a copy of your resume to have it reviewed or come get help getting started on your resume with an experienced volunteer available for 30-minute appointments.

North Portland: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Aug. 19

Make a Basic Website*

Learn how to build a basic website using the GoogleSites application.

North Portland: 10:30 am-12:30 p.m. Aug. 12

iPad/iPhone Help*

iPad and iPhone basics, including great library apps for free e-books, streaming audiobooks, music and movies.

North Portland: 5-7 p.m. Aug. 28

*NOTE: It is important to see the online description for individual class requirements which may include already having a Google account. Classes will be cancelled if not enough people are registered, so please register in advance if you would like to attend.

Do you have technology questions? Get answers to questions about mobile devices, websites, downloading, e-readers, getting started with tech and more (including help with smartphone or tablet.) Call (971) 401-3215 or email [email protected] to schedule an appointment at Hollywood, North Portland, Kenton or St Johns.

Computer Help Lab

For assistance with computer/technology questions, help with resumes and other projects we have the Computer Lab. The lab has a scanner and color printer, and options for free faxing through the internet. The Lab is open during the following hours:

North Portland 1-3 p.m. Monday/Tuesday; 1-3:30 p.m. Friday; 1:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday (closed 8/14-8/27)

Hollywood: 12-2 p.m. Thursdays
