Portland Community Reinvestment Initiatives gave Meyer Memorial Trust, one of Oregon’s largest philanthropies, an award for its ongoing support at the PCRI Lounge Gala May 4.
Pictured above is Michelle J. DePass, the president of the Meyer Memorial Trust who started at MMT in April 2018. Support for the MMT’s initiatives includes providing funding for the first minority homeownership program in 2004, and assistance with transition to homeownership.
Also pictured is Michael Parkhurst, a retired PCRI board member, who now works for Meyer Memorial Trust, where he helped secure $500,000 to build out the community room at the Beatrice Morrow-Cannady Apartments, an 80-unit affordable apartment complex at MLK and Fremont.
