Expect More Bridge Lifts for Hawthorne, Morrison Inspections

There will be more bridge lifts next week on the Hawthorne and Morrison bridges for annual inspections.

July 10-11

On Monday, July 10 and Tuesday, July 11 expect more bridge lifts on the Hawthorne Bridge from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for annual electrical and mechanical inspections. Expect traffic delays and use alternative routes.

July 12-13 

On Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 13 expect more bridge lifts on the Morrison Bridge from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for annual electrical and mechanical inspections. Expect traffic delays and use alternative routes. 

There will be no bridge closures for these inspections. Multnomah County maintains the Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside, Broadway, Sellwood and Sauvie Island bridges on the Willamette River. For information, visit: https://www.multco.us/bridges.
