The Evergreen High School marching band and colorguard in Vancouver has been invited to march in the parade at President-elect Barack Obama's inaugural ceremonies in Washington D.C. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — out of 1,400 applicants from across the country, only 24 bands were chosen. Now's the hard part: the kids have to come up with the money to pay their way.
